Visiting Artist Lecture: Pepón Osorio

At 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 26, stop by Grant Street Studios for a special talk by Puerto Rican artist Pepón Osorio. The acclaimed artist, whose large-scale installations have been featured at Whitney Museum of American Art, Smithsonian American Art Museum, and El Museo del Barrio, will be presented as part of the ASU School of Art Visiting Artist and Scholar Lecture Series. Phoenix Startup Week

Entrepreneurs, unite. Phoenix Startup Week is here to help you get your big ideas off the ground. The community gathering kicked off Monday, February 23, in downtown Phoenix, and will continue to downtown Scottsdale, Tempe, north Scottsdale, and the Arcadia/Biltmore area through Friday, February 27. All-access registration passes are free. The five-day affair offers everything from expert speakers and exhibitors to networking and business tours. Community Canal Path Bike Ride

Scottsdale Public Art is celebrating public art event Canal Convergence with some fresh air and a group ride around Old Town Scottsdale. The community bike tour will depart from Soleri Bridge and Plaza, 4420 North Scottsdale Road, Scottsdale, at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 28, and conclude in the same location around 1 p.m. The tour will make stops at multiple installations including Bob Adams' Copper Falls and Erin V.
