Mystery Movie Night
What's in the box? Not even we know that. Every Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m., the good folks at Lawn Gnome Publishing put their projector to good use with a mystery movie screening. The featured flick is always a surprise but generally resides in the genre of strange and unusual. For more information (if you can get it), visit the event on Facebook.
Chasing Ice
Ice scream, you scream. As part of the Sustainability Solutions Festival, Arizona Science Center will be offering a free screening of the Emmy-winning documentary, Chasing Ice. Follow National Geographic photographer James Balong as he goes to extreme lengths to capture the effects of climate change in the Arctic. Following the film, there will be a discussion led by geoscientist Wally Broecker and ASU professor of natural science Becky Ball. The screening starts at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, February 17.
