One new idea for every day in 2011. We're talking big, small, local, international, in action and on the drawing board. Here's today's -- what's yours?
Brooklyn-based designer Dan Cassaro thinks we need a new way of looking at our country -- what he calls a "designer's atlas."
Cassaro asked 50 designers, one per state, to illustrate their own state's motto.
He found Erik Finsrud to design Arizona's "God enriches." Finsrud's originally from Sedona and is behind online design collective Typcut. See more of Finsrud's work here and the growing collection of state motto illustrations at 50 and 50.
