What a difference a year makes. Last season, the San Francisco Giants were the top team in the National League West, racking up victories en route to winning their first World Series in more than 50 years. Meanwhile, the Arizona Diamondbacks were dwelling in the cellar as one of the worst teams in baseball.
Now, 12 months later, things have changed. The Giants have been struggling a bit in the standings while the D-Backs are experiencing a bit of resurgence. As such, both teams are fighting for first place in the NL West and will take that battle to the baseball diamond when San Francisco visits Chase Field for a three-game series.
