To the thrill of ghost whisperers, cocktail slingers, and e-cigarrette puffers everywhere, Allison DuBois is coming to Changing Hands

The medium/author/reality TV star who claims to be a drug is coming back to her hometown on September 23 to answer questions and share her new book, Talk to Me: What the Dead Whisper in Your Ear.

Her Tempe stop is in the middle of her world tour of book signings and seminars, in which she shares her life story, the inspiration for TV show MediumProducer Kelsey Grammar, pulled the plug on the show shortly after DuBois made a (drunk) appearance at his (now ex-) wife's home on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in December.

DuBois, who was profiled by New Times in 2008, writes that her fourth book focuses on dealing with death and how she (and her children) can speak to spirits.

"I can't tell you how proud I am of the content," DuBois writes of the book on her dandelion-filled website. "I have pulled a collection of stories from my personal life and readings from my reading vault that cover a wide range of types of loss, and how to cope ... I recount readings from spouses, children, and parents who have died through natural means or at the hands of others, including a tribute chapter for our soldiers."

If you catch DuBois at Changing Hands, don't expect a similar tribute to her time spent on national television, in which she said of another Real Housewife, "I can tell you when she will die, and what will happen to her family. I love that about me!"

Tickets (good for two seats) are free with the purchase of Talk to Me and are available at Changing Hands Bookstore or by calling 480.730.0205. DuBois takes the stage at 7 p.m..
