Professional Development Grants
Arizona Commission on the Arts is accepting applications for grants designed to help Arizona artists, arts educators, and arts administrators participate in professional development and skill-building activities. Learning activities include, but aren’t limited to, artist residencies, symposiums, and training with mentors/master artists. For activities happening between July 1, 2017, and June 30, 2018, applications are due by Thursday, May 4. Learn more on the Arizona Commission on the Arts website.

Lifelong Arts Engagement Grants
Arizona Commission on the Arts is looking for projects that pair professional teaching artists and/or arts organizations to enhance the work of community and social service organizations/governmental entities. Applications for projects taking place between July 1, 2017, and June 30, 2018 are being accepted through Thursday, May 4, on the Arizona Commission on the Arts website.

Art Learning Collaboration Grants
Arizona Commission on the Arts is accepting applications for grants to fund school-based arts teaching and learning programs in three areas, including planning, professional development, and student learning. Applicants must be schools or districts with tax-exempt status, who can collaborate with each other, teaching artists, or arts organizations. For projects taking place between July 1, 2017, and June 20, 2018, applications are due on Thursday, May 4. Get details on the Arizona Commission on the Arts website.

Artist-Designed Emoji Stickers
A company called MojiLaLa that offers sticker apps for Apple iPhones is looking for Phoenix-based artists to create emoji stickers that help feed the growing demand for creative digital icons, and giving artists half the proceeds from the sale of their original emoji works. There’s no deadline for this one, so just check it out any time at the MojiLaLa website.
