Auto This World

Cars don’t get any cooler than the 1969 Lamborghini Miura. It’s got sexy curves, a V-12 engine that tops out at 170 mph, and an eye-popping price tag of more than $100,000.

Suffice it to say that unless the Powerball finally rolls your way, the closest you’re getting to this baby (or any of its overly expensive brethren) is at the annual Copperstate 1000 Field of Dreams Cruise In on Sunday, April 10.

More than 400 classics, muscle cars, exotics, and street rods -- all of which are of the vintage variety -- will be on display at Tempe Diablo Stadium before setting off on a four-day road trip across Arizona.

One of the premier vintage car road rallies in North America, the Copperstate 1000 features some of the most to-die-for retro rides manufactured before 1974. Auto aficionados and newbies alike can enjoy giveaways, ogle the collection cars, and hobnob with the drivers before snagging a seat for the European-style departure, where sweet rides meet 1,000 miles of Arizona highway.
