The cast and crew of NBC's Parks and Recreation recently finished shooting its final season. Which is a bummer. The final season will air two back-to-back episodes at a time. Which means it'll go by super fast. And NBC canceled pretty much all its new comedies. Which makes a post-P 'n' R world look all the more grim.

But ah, a glimmer of hope.

Aziz Ansari has announced a brief tour for January and February of 2014. And Phoenix is one of just six stops.

The comedian, who stopped in Phoenix during his Buried Alive tour in 2013, returns to the Valley of the Sun with two sets on Friday, January 9, at Celebrity Theatre.

That's just a handful of days before the première of Parks and Rec's final season on January 13; the app to the TV show's zert, if you will.

Tickets to Ansari's Phoenix shows at 7 and 9:30 p.m. on are $45 and available via azizansari.com/tour. In the immortal words of Tom Haverford, treat yo self.
