The countdown to Best of Phoenix continues! Last year, we profiled 100 Creatives who made a mark on the local arts scene. This year, we'll have 100 creative representations of Phoenix. No scope or requirement on medium or size -- we'll include photography, painting, sculpture, video, installation, literary, and more. What do you see when you Imagine PHX?The concept behind the piece is about the Phoenix heat and how it affects everything down to inanimate objects. Some people look at the heat as a bad thing, but in order to make this piece I had to use over 2000 degrees of heat so I benefited from it. Going off the old saying my friend told me "you don't know your good luck from your bad luck," the heat can be a blessing in disguise.
