Back in Black

Attention, Mister Bah Humbug: Black Friday isn’t a time to boycott Corporate America by staying on your couch eating last night’s leftovers. Instead of sitting on your overindulgent bum, go local for holiday shopping.

Our Southwest loving pals at the Heard are launching its third annual Ornament Marketplace. Take your pick from a wide selection of handcrafted ornaments from more than 20 Native artists, including carved wood, pottery, and beads. Bah Humbugs should also enjoy a book signing of A Cowboy Christmas from author Tom Vandyke on Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m.

Fri., Nov. 26, 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m.; Sat., Nov. 27, 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m.; Sun., Nov. 28, 11 a.m.-5:30 p.m., 2010
