Bauhaus Call

There may be nothing new under the sun, but back in late 1978, four skinny British kids named David Haskins, Kevin Haskins, Peter Murphy, and Daniel Ash cooked up something totally unprecedented beneath the Northampton gloom. Guitarist Ash, who went on to co-found the crossover acts Tones on Tail and Love and Rockets following Bauhaus’ original demise in ’83, makes a pit stop to spin some discs at DJ William Fucking Reed’s “Shake!” Motherfucking Dance Party.
