Beastie Boys

Despite its yee-haw history, modern-day Phoenix has kicked cowboy culture to the curb, and ropers and wranglers are as hard to come by ’round these parts as fans of the UofA. The semi-weekly affair runs annually from October through May, roughly paralleling tourist season, but the hardy dudes who climb aboard the pissed-off bulls in pursuit of glory and cash are the real thang.
