Below the Beltway

Murder. Scandal. Black-ops. Military profiteering. Fraud. Bribery. Beltway blackmail. The gripping read is an end product of the 17 years Downie served as executive editor of the Washington Post. Taking over for the great Ben Bradlee, Downie came in with Clinton and stepped down in September – the dusk of Dubya. He introduces the insider-esque book at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
