Big Daddy

Paul Rodriguez, standup/actor/activist, is the father of the Paul Rodriguez (P-Rod) who won a record fourth X Games gold medal in Skateboard Street earlier this month. Bust that out when the hip kids ask why you’re heading to Talking Stick Resort for the elder Rodriguez' performance on Friday. ’Cause what else can you do? If the cool shit's happening in a casino, you go to that casino.

In case you have trouble remembering which of the Original Latin Kings of Comedy Rodriguez is, he's the one who hasn't had his own English-language TV show. (Seven episodes of a.k.a. Pablo and hosting the final season of The Newlywed Game don't count.) Perhaps that's why he's so good. Television is an evil box full of crappy-ass comedy, whereas Rodriguez is a genuinely funny and nice guy who decided to become a comedian instead of a lawyer.
