Each week Gem features one standout piece from a local shop. Whether it's a jacket, necklace, or handbag, it's on our have-to-have list.

What: Little black dresses have been all we can think about since attending Dennita Sewell's lecture on the fashion staple.

This LBD from Annie Boomer Vintage fits the bill precisely for ladies looking for a 1950s full-skirted number (with an attached tulle crinoline underskirting for sustainable poofiness) that'll turn heads.

Its elegant ballet neckline makes for showcasing decolletage, which wouldn't be complete without a strand of pearls.

Where: Annie Boomer Vintage's Ebay Shop

Cost: $89.99

Style this Gem after the jump.

Style It: With a beautifully made vintage piece like this one, it's best to let the dress speak for itself. But, of course, pearls and red lipstick are LBD must-have accessories. Below we've accessorized the dress with a short strand of glass pearls from Kate Spade, Chloe's textured metallic leather ballet flats (a nod to the broad neckline), a robin egg blue-green suede clutch from J. Crew (a little reference to Audrey Hepburn's jewelry shop of choice in Breakfast at Tiffany's), and creamy, long-lasting red lipstick from Yves Saint Laurent.
