Were terrible house-sitters. Its not that were irresponsible; we just suck at keeping plants alive. Worse yet, we dont really know what it is we do wrong. Its gotten so bad that were planning to buy a plant just to practice not killing it.
Thats one reason were heading to Desert Botanical Gardens Fall Plant Sale. The annual shindig will feature more than 400 species of desert plants up for grabs. If that sounds intimidating, dont worry; Garden volunteers and horticulturalists will on hand to help you pick the right product and to offer helpful advice on how to avoid murdering it.
The event will also feature a used-book sale, with all proceeds benefiting DBGs library.
