Certified Local Fall Festival in Phoenix Phoenicians warmed themselves with big jackets and apple cider from St. Francis at the eighth annual Certified Local Fall Festival at Portland Parkway on Saturday, November 10. Popular booths included Smeeks, Spinato's, and Short Leash hot dogs as patrons sampled food and checked out local art.
Phoenix Annual Parade of the Arts 2012 A series of colorful floats, rambunctious musicians, and brightly costumed folks marched through downtown Phoenix for the Phoenix Annual Parade of the Arts on Saturday. Cupcake Love-In 2012 at Hotel Valley Ho Cupcakes, cupcakes everywhere, of every shape, size, color and flavor. The Valley gathered for a once a year event on Sunday to satisfy its sweet tooth. The 2012 Cupcake Love-In, a fundraising event for Project H3: VETS, featured unlimited cupcakes from 16 local bakeries and vendors. Hurry up and grab a plate before the sweet, frosted goodness runs out.
