Cherubs and Chalupas

For diehard fans of the Arizona Diamondbacks, it’s painful to see your favorite squad suck it up day after annoying day. Luckily, superfans also know that the season (at least on the calendar) is far from over, and there’s nothing like an interleague throwdown to keep things interesting.

Beginning Friday, June 26, at Chase Field, the D-Backs will do what they can to put the hurt on the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, who are battling the Texas Rangers for American League West supremacy. While the possibility of winning a free chalupa isn’t an automatic these days, we'll be pulling for a few checks in the win column a whole lot more when Torii Hunter, Bobby Abreu, and Juan Rivera visit for a three-game set.

Fri., June 26, 6:40 p.m.; Sat., June 27, 5:10 p.m.; Sun., June 28, 1:10 p.m., 2009
