Bring, sell, buy, swap -- all you need to participate in this weekend's Bicycle Swap Meet is the need to take home (or leave behind) a few extra parts.
The event, held this year on Saturday, March 12, is hosted by the Coalition of Arizona Bicyclists (CAzB), a Phoenix-area-based education and advocacy group.
This weekend, the coalition plans to feature individuals as well as local cycle shops selling all sorts of goodies, ranging from full-on new/used bicycles that can be pedaled right off the lot to parts and other paraphernalia.
The five-hour event is pretty laid-back - registration isn't required - so just show up with stuff to sell and/or cash to buy the stuff.
The scene is the back parking lot of Phoenix Municipal Stadium, 5999 East Van Buren Street. Enter into the blacktop-located swap meet, located at the southeast corner of 56th and Van Buren streets, from 56th Street.
Hours are 7 a.m. to noon. Admission is free for buyers and sellers. Go to www.cazbike.org.
