Convergent Arts Slam

On Thursday, March 26, downtown Phoenix will host an epic, poetic battle. But we’re not talking about Trojan War status here. We mean an epic battle of poets, the Convergent Arts Slam hosted by Truth B. Told. Witness the competitors of this biweekly event turn their words into swords as they face off head-to-head from 7 to 10 p.m. at Fair Trade Community Kitchen, 424 North Central Avenue. Get more info and pre-register to compete at, hope for a remaining spot in the lottery draw at 7:30 p.m., or just help decide competitors’ fates as part of the audience.
