Regardless of continent or culture, humans have the irresistible urge to wiggle and flail their bodies to music. Unfortunately, American dance styles have been reduced to barbaric drunken grinding on a dance floor.
Perhaps its best if we leave it to professionals like MOMIX, a group of dazzling dancer-illusionists. Led by artistic director Moses Pendleton, the members create mesmerizing productions using props, light, shadow, humor, and the human body. MOMIX will show off its greatest hits of carefully choreographed performances.
