Daredevil's Due

Jackass superstar Steve-O has both seen it all and done it all: He's swam with sharks, run with bulls, set himself on fire, and even stapled his nutsack to his leg on numerous occasions, all in the name of entertainment.

So when the 36-year-old takes the stage at Stand Up Live for a four-night stint starting on Thursday, August 25, will his performances feature similar daredevil shenanigans? “Maybe there might be some of that at the end of the night,” Steve-O says. “Mostly I'll be telling a bunch of stories about raunchy shit and adventures I had when I was getting wasted.”

Now sober for three years, Steve-O is hitting comedy clubs across the country as a part of his “Entirely Too Much Information Tour.” Stand-up gigs are less risky, he explains, than the surreal stunts he's become famous for via the Jackass TV show and movies, but allow him to remain in the spotlight.

He doesn’t rule out setting himself on fire during gigs, however. “I like ending each show with something that gets the audience’s jaws to drop,” he says.
