Jet set + Gypsy = Gypset. That’s the basis of writer Julia Chaplin’s coffee table book, Gypset Style, which unearths the bohemian counterculture of stylish world travelers. It seems straightforward, but there’s more to the subset of nomadic creative types than colorful plane boarding and exotic locales.
Chaplin, who’s a contributing writer at Vogue and Elle, will discuss Gypset Style in-depth and in conjunction with Phoenix Art Museum’s Giorgio di Sant’ Angelo retrospective currently on view in the Ellman Fashion Design Gallery.
