Drawn to Scales

No, it’s not Reptar On Ice. First off, this is Arizona, and therefore there's very little ice for dinosaurs to dance and sing on. Two, Reptar was on Rugrats ®C a kid’s show ®C and Repticon is for grownups. Snake- and lizard-obsessed grownups -- but still.

This weekend promises the first-ever Phoenix Repticon, a celebration of all things reptilian. At this exotic animal expo, Southwest herpetology hobbyists can enjoy educational presentations and buy merch ®C and animals ®C from vendors offering a thousands of snakes, lizards, and all other manner of poisonous, cold-blooded things. It’ll be the greatest grouping of reptile enthusiasts the state has ever seen. No ice necessary.
