Forget the tall tales and tall orders. Cartwright’s is serving up meals that make it happen and stories that actually did happen with its fourth annual Arizona History Dinner series. Speakers in this year’s series include Marshall Trimble, Bob “Boze” Bell, Wyatt Earp, Dolan Ellis, Robin Sewell, and Lance Polingyouma. Each history presentation will be accompanied by a no-host cocktail hour and themed, three-course dinners prepared by executive chef Montez Crane and pastry chef Amanda Crick.

Cartwright’s Arizona History Dinner series happens every other Wednesday from May 28 through October 29 at Cartwright’s Sonoran Ranch House, 6710 East Cave Creek Road, Cave Creek. Cocktail hour kicks off at 5 p.m. Dinner follows at 6, and a history discussion and presentation starts at 7. Admission is $55 per person plus sales tax and 18 percent gratuity.
