Fair Enough

There are two kinds of fairgoers. The first are satiated after one good dose of midway strolling, carnival-food eating, and tattoo spotting. The second type can’t wait to go back as soon as they exit the parking lot. If you’re in the latter category and ready to rock, the Arizona State Fair salutes you with its fun-packed second weekend.

If you’re not tripping on the Zipper on Thursday, October 21, you can catch the amateur action of Copper Gloves Boxing or swoon over country music chart-topper Blake Shelton. On Friday, October 22, the Arizona Centennial Copper Chopper Bike Show kicks off, while Saturday, October 23, sees former Poison lead singer, reality-show darling, and medical comeback kid Bret Michaels hitting the Madhouse on McDowell. Then, on Sunday, October 24, Disney pop star Selena Gomez performs. If none of that tickles your fancy, maybe the beefy models of the Harlequin romance novels will.
