Fall-Star Game

A dedicated sports fan is not just invested by the present state of a sport but also its future. This is apparent with creepers, too: Any dodgy 35-year-old can show up uninvited at college parties, but the truly dedicated creepy 35-year-old also hangs out in high school parking lots to see what’s coming down the pipe.

If you’re a devoted baseball fan, then keep Saturday, November 21, open. That’s when Scottsdale Stadium hosts the Arizona Fall League Championship Game. The league has showcased plenty of future stars this season, including Stephen Strasburg, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2009 Major League Baseball Draft, who made his professional debut with the Phoenix Devil Dogs last month.
