Fantasy Camp

Typical geek gatherings of the convention type feature guest panels and demonstrations, but LepreCon 38 will go frat-tastic by adding a toga party into the mix of science fiction, fantasy.

Highlighting the art of mystical worlds far beyond ours, the con fittingly features special guests such as comic book artist and illustrator Franchesco!, body painter Mark Greenawalt, and filk musicians Jeff and Maya Bohnhoff appropriate choices to share their inspired works. This year’s big catch, though, is actor Stephen Furst, from films Babylon 5 and Animal House. The comedy classic will be screened in his honor at Tempe's MADCAP Theaters and revelers will undertake a Delta-house-inspired jammy jam.
