Whether it's the big hitters like Thanksgiving and Christmas or the minor ones like Independence Day and the Super Bowl, some of the most American holidays are all about eating. And this Labor Day, the Queen Creek Olive Mill is doing what it does best with its fifth installment of Labor Day Grill at the Mill. This family-friendly event will offer its usual dining options as well as special off-menu items including Tuscan grilled chicken, a wine tasting, cold draft beer, gelato, and waffles.

There will also be live music by the Rocket 88’s, market shopping with authentic Arizona extra virgin olive oil, and a lesson in “Olive Oil 101.” The event takes place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, September 2, at 25062 South Meridian Road.
