Artist: Fausto Fernandez
Medium: mixed media collage on canvas
All the best experiences I've had as an artist have been in Phoenix so far. The community support, my gallery, and working for most of the local museums installing exhibitions was super fun. My studio, where I've been working for the past 7 years on Grand Avenue, and especially all the great friends and artists I've met are all good reasons to live here. I love Phoenix.
The countdown to Best of Phoenix begins! Last year, we profiled 100 Creatives who made a mark on the local arts scene. This year, we'll have 100 creative representations of Phoenix.
No scope or requirement on medium or size -- we'll include photography,
painting, sculpture, video, installation, literary, and more. What do
you see when you Imagine PHX?
Imagine PHX, so far:
100: Steven Revering's Westward Ho
99: Jon Ashcroft's Suspended in Geography
98: William LeGoullon's Table
