It explores how women's liberation relates to pop culture portrayals of powerful women. Check it out at 6 p.m. at Mesa Arts Center Thursday, March 21. Admission is free.

Phoenix College Latino Film Festival @ Various Locations In its 13th year, Phoenix College Latino Film Festival spans six days and includes films from Spain, Mexico, and Argentina. The fest opens on Thursday, March 21, at Bulpitt Auditorium with a screening of Flamenco, Flamenco at 7 p.m. Screenings continue through Thursday, March 28, at various locations. Admission is free.
