Golf Disc Jockeys

Those meandering through Fountain Park Saturday, March 2, are advised to keep an eye to the sky for more than the giant fountain, as golf discs aplenty fly during final round of the 25th Memorial Championship. The annual tournament began earlier in the week with nearly 300 professional golfers, some from as far away as Minnesota, Washington, California, and Finland. (That’s a long way to travel to huck a disc.)

In a format change, the final round features the top 50 percent of golfers in the four divisions (Open Men, Open Women, Masters and Grandmasters) angling for a championship prize purse worth more than $45,000.
