Grand Avenue Festival: Volunteers Wanted

The second Grand Avenue Festival may still be a few months away, but coordinators are looking for a few extra people to help put it together.

This year's green theme (which you may have gathered from their flyer above) will focus on adaptive re-use, recycling, neighborhood sustainability and the history of Grand Avenue.

The first festival planning meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 19 at 5:30 pm at Moderncat Studio inside Bragg's Pie Factory. Coordinators are looking for help with the following:

  • Fashion shows
  • Adaptive re-use tours
  • Music
  • Sponsorships
  • Publicity

You can email Grand Avenue Festival if you're interested in participating or you can attend any of the regular meetings that will be held every third Wednesday (until September) at 5:30 pm.
