Happy Meal

There is something almost aristocratic about sitting down for a multi-course meal. There’s the elegance, the fine food (of course), and the lively banter that flows in such settings. If such delights are missing from your microwavable munchies, then check out the esprit de fare at the Grown Up’s Table. This weekly event at Beckett’s Table features three courses plus wine for $39. It’s not necessary to bring the family along, as one is more or less provided when you pass the platters at the communal table.

What could be better than making new friends over such scrumptious delights as roasted elephant garlic, charred sweet onions, stuffed and slow-roasted, oven-dried tomatoes, swordfish satay, and olive tapenade? Desserts could include cheesecake or peach cobbler. The changing menu will be posted on the restaurant’s Facebook page.
