Have a Creative Morning

One new idea for every day in 2011. We're talking big, small, local, international, in action and on the drawing board. Here's today's -- what's yours?

Not much beats feeling creative in the morning with the help of caffeine and a good pep talk. Luckily, Creative Mornings has both areas covered.

The free, monthly lecture series is a brief (20 minute talk, 20 minute group discussion) chance for creative types to get together before work over a free cup of coffee to chat about improv, apartment therapy, start-up magazines, and the oldest things on earth, to name a few.

The project was started two years ago by design blogger Tina Roth Elsenberg (aka Swiss Miss) in New York, and is also currently held in Zurich, Los Angeles and San Francisco. While they have yet to set up shop in Phoenix, you can check out past talks on the Creative Morning website and nab a few ideas of your own ...

KEEP PHOENIX NEW TIMES FREE... Since we started Phoenix New Times, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Phoenix, and we'd like to keep it that way. With local media under siege, it's more important than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" program, allowing us to keep offering readers access to our incisive coverage of local news, food and culture with no paywalls.
