Jackalope Ranch Bingo Is Back at Crescent Ballroom in August

Brace yourself, 'cause bingo is back.

Well, almost. All you players who clamored for cards at Jackalope Ranch's inaugural bingo night will be happy to know that we're making a comeback and hosting four -- count 'em -- bingo bashes at Crescent Ballroom throughout August.

And we've got a few fun surprises this round . . .

Every Wednesday in August from 8 to 11 p.m. we'll be gaming in the ballroom. Big time, we know. And we have the hosts to prove it.

Arizona's hip-storian Marshall Shore will reprise his starring role as host on August 7 and 28, bookending the month of play. (You'll have to attend if you're curious whether that troll-adorned jacket will make another appearance.)

The one and only Tania Katan will host on the 14th, while our favorite local improv crew Torch Theatre will take the stage on the 21st.

Phoenix artist Sarah Hurwitz has created a set of 200 bingo cards for each evening, and the venue will have tables throughout the ballroom so folks can take a seat as they vie for prizes including food and drink vouchers, gift cards to local businesses, and concert and theater tickets.

Play will be divided into 45-minute increments, followed by 15-minute breaks, when players can leave, join in, or grab a cocktail. RSVP for one, all, or a few of the game nights via Facebook.
