Jailhouse Butt Rock

If Elvis had shimmied down to Sunset Strip instead of Las Vegas – and stayed alive for an extra decade or so – he very well might have formed a super group with Slash, Nikki Sixx, and Tommy Lee.

Okay, probably not, but four Arizona rockers came up with the next best thing: Metal Elvis. By combining the best elements of ‘80s metal (the garb, attitudes, and killer guitar riffs) with the best elements of “The King” (the outfits, hip shaking, and vocals), Metal Elvis ends up sounding like Danzig on ecstasy.

The Boulevards and Psychotic Supper, a Tesla tribute band share the bill.
