Lalo Cota on Tacos de Juarez

It's about time Phoenix sees some serious mural love. In the interest of giving credit to their artists and because we're losing track of the times we've said, "Woah, when did that go up?", we bring you Mural City, a series on the murals springing up around town -- their artists, their hosts and their inspirations.

If the crazy weather continues today, you might not be able to catch Lalo Cota working on his mural at Tacos de Juarez on Roosevelt Road, just north of Seventh Street. But his skeletons are in progress and should be done by the New Year.



Cota's been a mural machine -- you can see more of his work on Carly's Bistro, the Bee's Knees and along Grand Avenue.
