Look Up There

One new idea for every day in 2011. We're talking big, small, local, international, in action and on the drawing board. Here's today's -- what's yours?

In 2010, Stella Artois commissioned a few artists at Sky High Murals to paint a 20-by-50-foot wall in New York City. The goal was to bring to life the ritual of pouring a perfect Stella through a time-lapse video of the process.

The above's not the time lapse of the pour, but a short documentary that was filmed at the same time.

Sky High Murals is one of the last mural painting companies in New York City and the large-scale advertising painters are among the last trained artisans in an age-old profession that's quickly being phased out by ads printed on vinyl and stretched and pasted over billboards.
