Marital Miss

Just about any time a theater produces Right Bed, Wrong Husband, some PR person is quick to point out that despite the title, the play’s suitable for general audiences. Maybe -- if your kids already know that adults can be downright ridiculous goofballs. (And they do know; they’ve told us.)

The plot, in which a young man’s allowance from a well-off uncle had increased after his marriage, goes spinning when Uncle arrives and it turns out our hero is merely engaged. Fiancée? Oops, not around right now. Friend’s wife? Totes available for some harmless deception. But the maid knows. And the drunk neighbor likes to sleep it off chez same hapless schlub.
