The term “crazy” gets thrown around pretty loosely these days. You can be crazy as a bedbug, crazy like Charlie Sheen, or be so crazy that someone wants to have your baby. All pop culture references aside, what does it really mean to question your mental state?

,p> Through the end of March, the Phoenix Mental Health Collective will explore this concept in the group exhibit, “ArtSanity: Exploring the Gray Space between Grey Matter.” The collective of local artists is dedicated to supporting mental wellness during the crazy times we’re living in. In this show, curated by artist Anna Schuer, members use the language of creative expression to examine the fine line between sanity and waving a machete on a rooftop after being fired from your sitcom.
