“Mysteries from Europe”

If you love a good whodunit and are bored because it would be silly to re-re-watch Sherlock, perhaps the Phoenix Art Museum’s the place to go. Its Lyon Gallery exhibition “Mysteries from Europe” collects unsigned paintings and drawings whose origins aren’t entirely clear.

Take a look from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, January 8, at Phoenix Art Museum, 1625 North Central Avenue, and through Sunday, April 19, 2015. Museum patrons are encouraged to photograph the show and share their theories about the works via social media with #EuroMysteries. Admission is $15 for adults. Visit or call 602-257-1880.

Thursdays-Saturdays, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Sundays, 12-5 p.m.; Wednesdays, 10 a.m.-9 p.m.; First Friday of every month, 5-10 p.m. Starts: Nov. 22. Continues through April 19, 2014
