Only a handful of days remain until the end of the Naughties, which means it's time to look back on this massively madcap decade. And, frankly, it's been something of a downer. While sci-fi flicks promised rocket-powered cars and orgasmatrons by now, the past 10 years have wrought the quagmire of foreign wars, inept leaders, and some pretty whiny music. You've got one last chance to create a couple of outstanding memories before we put 2009 in the rearview mirror: New Year's Eve. As always, Auld Lang Syne offers a slew of swanky soirées and outrageous antics to engage in, especially here in the Valley. We've scoured the Internets and beaten the streets in search of the biggest of the big-time bashes taking place on Thursday, December 31 (unless otherwise specified).
