Odd Man Out

After four years of riding the pine for the Connecticut Huskies, the once highly-touted quarterback looked like a disappointment. In his last chance to make an impact, however, the senior signal-caller made his mark by leading the Big East champions to their best season in school history and a spot in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl.

On paper, this year’s version of the postseason classic does not figure to be a close one. Standing across from the Huskies (8-4) will be the Oklahoma Sooners (11-2), one of the premiere teams in college football. While the odds are certainly stacked against UConn, don’t be surprised if Frazer helps keep his team close. After all, he’s overcome long odds before.
