Old School Yule

This Christmas, should you wake to find that, amidst Santa's tapestry of toys and joys, your desired treasures have again left you bereft -- if the glittering ornaments and lights on the tree have morphed into flickering reminders of neglect -- weep no more partner; there's somewhere you can hang that sad hat.

Tempe's Yucca Tap Room, the valley's most distinguished dive, will host A Very Merry Valley Fever Classic Country Christmas, with DJs Dana and Johnny Volume serving up the finest slices of old school country yule. Since Valley Fever’s inception, Sundays at Yucca have become a haven for Phoenix's tight-knit country contrarians, showcasing Arizona's finest original acts.

That Christmas falls on a Sunday this year should bring a little healing to hearts broken by the holidays, even if it means catching a little Valley Fever on December 25.
