What: A BCBGeneration v-neck shift dress in a multicolor print, reminiscent of pointillism, with flecks of two essential fall colors: teal and eggplant.

Both Versace and Gucci showed the same color combination in their fall-winter 2011 collections.

This take on the trend is less of a bank-breaker, and, unlike the aforementioned high-end (and high-volume) designs, it's simple enough to function as daywear.

Style It: The tunic-style frock's material is an ultra-light, silky polyester, making it wearable year-round in the desert. During the slow transition from summer to fall, tote a light sweater (like this one from Rag & Bone) to wear while in air conditioning.
