Phoenix Phabulous Mural Reveal and Storytelling

Despite what some may think, Phoenix does have a rich history. Though it may not be as long as some of the more storied cities back east, the Valley’s history is worth learning. Get a glimpse of the city’s past at the Phoenix Phabulous Mural Reveal and Storytelling on Thursday, February 19, as the final three murals of the 15-mural history of Phoenix collection are displayed at Changing Hands Phoenix, 300 West Camelback Road. Each mural focuses on a different part of Phoenix’s past: the early Phoenix stewards, air conditioning in Phoenix, and the high-rise era in Phoenix. Both the artists and the City of Phoenix Historic Preservation Officer will speak. The free event goes from 5:30 to 7 p.m. For more info, visit https://www.facebook.com/events/367740590064902/?source=1.
