Pride Not Prejudice

Society has made major strides when it comes to embracing the LGBT community. Facebook users showed their solidarity about a week ago by changing their profile pictures to red and pink equals signs. While social media is a great tool for raising awareness, it’s only half the battle. The 23rd annual Phoenix Pride Festival aims to educate its attendees about LGBT issues by throwing a huge party. Between performances, guests can scope out an art expo and get in touch with their inner kinkster at the adults-only "Erotic World" exhibit.
