Project Ethos Brings Live Music, Fine Art, and Walking Fashion to Scottsdale

Five local fashion designers (and their models) will go head-to-head this Friday night in Scottsdale, when Project Ethos continues its nationwide tour at Axis Radius on May 20.

The night will showcase runway looks by Tiffe Fermaint, Rebecca Turley, Jennyvi Dizon, Monkieu Tran, and Shantidas Contu-Owen.

Axis will also host local artwork in a loosely named "pop up art gallery" (read: art temporarily hanging in a non-gallery venue) -- all to the tune of live music by Snake! Snake! Snakes! and a handful of local DJs.

At 11 p.m., check out the "Flavor Fashionista Challenge," where each designer will each show off a look inspired by a flavor of Vitaminwater and created under a $200 budget.

The designs will then go to a public text-in vote and the winner will take home a "package prize" worth $3000.

Doors open at 9 p.m. and the music starts at 10 p.m.. Tickets are $10 online ($30 for VIP seating during the fashion show and concert).

Axis-Radius is at 7340 East Indian Plaza in Scottsdale. For more info, see the event page or the Project Ethos website.
