My move to Arizona a few years ago made me appreciate the true beauty that is found in this Sonoran Desert, a setting that I had never experienced while growing up on the east coast. My image "3 Windows" depicts crucial elements which make up our city. The first window shows natural beauty, the second shows lights in the distance of our rapidly growing city, and the third shows people, who brought Phoenix to life, and continue to bring life to Phoenix.

The countdown to Best of Phoenix begins! Last year, we profiled 100 Creatives who made a mark on the local arts scene. This year, we'll have 100 creative representations of Phoenix. No scope or requirement on medium or size -- we'll include photography, painting, sculpture, video, installation, literary, and more. What do you see when you Imagine PHX?
